Financial Management is one of the most difficult areas in life. Most of us, especially myself, need help to get it right. Financial problems are the number one reason cited for divorce. Unfortunately, you probably got to this page searching for solutions to a money problem, rather than looking for advice on where to put all that extra money you're making. Either way, we're here to help. Below this text is a list of our financial management pages for help with any area of your finances. To help you manage budgets, payments, investments, etc. Here is a list of the top-selling Personal Finance Software. These Personal Finance Books may help you plan your money and execute your plan. First, a little about our money history:
In 1992, our spending had been out of control for the past few years. To get it under control, we had eliminated unnecessary purchases, sold unnecessary household items, sold a new $ 9,000 boat for $ 6,000 and we were still spending $ 250 more per month than we had in income. Our savings were almost gone and the only 2 assets left were our IRA and our house. By 1999, our only debt was a $50,000 home mortgage, we lived on a fifth of our income and we invested and donated the rest. Despite a stock market crash and 2 years without employment or business income, in 2004, we completed a custom home on 20 acres, putting 50% down in cash. We thank God for the good fortune we've had, not that we didn't have money problems, but that we had sound financial management advice to weather those problems. These financial pages contain every financial tip we've picked up along the way. You won't find get rich quick schemes here, just sound, practical financial management planning help.
